Fertilization

 

Fertilizer plays a key role in establishing and maintaining a healthy dense turf.   It is recommended that fertilizer is applied three to four times a year.

 

We apply four applications with the first one starting in the spring that is a pre-emergent blend fertilizer.  This is used mainly to prevent crab/quack grasses and several other "unwanted" weeds.  

 

The following three applications are specially formulated to stimulate a healthy, thick turf ensuring a dark green look throughout the summer months.  

 

We always pick up toys in the yard and will blow off all sidewalks and driveways after applying fertilizer.  

 

A spot treatment will also be done on the yard after the fertilizer application to eliminate the pesky dandelions or broad leaf weeds, at no additional charge to the customer.
